Mrs. Carmen Theresa Villaverde lives for her students. She is beloved by all at her school and in her community. And she routinely brings everyone together—even local businesses—for an annual cancer walk in honor of loved ones who have passed away from the illness. As a career exploration and culinary arts teacher, she helps students believe in themselves and their endless possibilities through the student-organized catering service. She is dedicated to helping her students thrive and her students know it.
